All OH&S Consulting training is performed face to face at your premises or a Training Venue can be arranged (at an additional fee).
Course Intention:
This course is intended for all personnel working in the company. It will introduce to
personnel the concepts surrounding hearing conservation.
All attendees will receive a certificate of attendance.
Learning Objectives & Outcomes:

Upon completion of this course participants should be able to:

Summarise the requirements of the WA legislation for hearing protection.

Recall noise hazards that attribute to hearing loss.

Identify and assess job hazards that warrant hearing protection control.

Discuss the importance of a Hearing Conservation Program.

Demonstrate the effective use and selection of Personal Protective Equipment (ie ear muffs and ear plugs).
Course Contents:

Overview of current legislative references (daily noise dose, exposure levels).

The nature of sound and the sound spectrum.

Types and causes of hearing loss.
-
Noise Identification, Assessment and Control in the work and home environment.

Hearing Conservation Program.

Use and care of hearing protectors.
