Induction Staff & Contractor Training

Course Duration:

Course Location: 

All OH&S Consulting training is performed face to face at your premises or a Training Venue can be arranged (at an additional fee).

 

Course Intention: 

This course is specifically designed for each company/operation. Essentially, it will cover occupational safety and health issues specifically pertaining to the operation.

 

All attendees will receive a certificate of attendance.

Upon completion of this course participants should be able to:

• Be familiarised with the inherent hazards of the workplace.

• Recall and become aware of the safe systems of work.

• Understand the employee responsibilities whilst working at the operation.

• The major hazards related to working in the operations.

• Minimum environmental, health and safety legislative requirements.

• Company Standards and Safe Work Practices.

• Safety and Health Committee.

• Safety and Health Representatives.

• Work Permit System.

• Tagging.

• Minimum clothing and protective equipment standards.

• Restricted and prohibited goods and practices.

• Emergency Response Procedure and First Aid protocols.

• Project Plans and effective planning.

• Hazard identification and management tools, processes and procedures.

• Hazard, Incident and Injury reporting and investigation requirements.

• Performance Standards.
