Alison Martins (Ali) has held the role of Principal Consultant/Director and Manager of OH&S Consulting since 1995.  With over 35 years experience in Safety, she has been directly involved in the provision of comprehensive safety and health consultancy to industries that include Construction, Mining (surface & underground), Mining Exploration, Electrical Contractors, Power Generation, Medico-legal, Up-stream and Downstream oil and gas, Bio-Science, Ship maintenance contractors and several other heavy industrial contract service companies.

Alison has previously held the position of President of the Occupational Health Society of Australia (WA) Inc. She served on the Executive body of this professional association for several years and actively participated in working parties addressing Draft OSH publications, i.e. WorkSafe WA OSH Act and Regulations, Manual Handling Code of Practice etc.   Alison is also the co-author of the Health Assessment Guide for Nurses.

Alison brings a strong management focus to the consultancy with demonstrated success in marketing difficult safety and health issues, facilitation of Risk Assessment and proven performance in applied safety and health training.

Associate OSH Consultant

Ben Kozisek is a Senior Safety Advisor/OSH Consultant with 14 plus years of applied safety experience consisting of mining, engineering, civil construction, compliance safety inspection and supervision roles in the construction industry.  He has worked as an OSH Consultant and maintained roles as a Safety Manager and Senior Safety Advisor in mining and construction.Ben has a strong background in earthmoving where he holds a variety of tickets in excavator and loader operation, forklift, telehandler, bulldozer and maintains a multi-combination drivers licence (over dimensionalised loading and commercial driver).  He has actively trained and conducted verification of compentency of personnel in articulated dump trucks, loaders, excavators, water carts, rollers and six wheel tipping.Ben brings strong supervisory and training experience with a hands on approach to the consultancy. He provides value added field support to clients as and when required, along with a superior investigative skillset with demonstrated success in the use of ICAM and Taproot Methodology and has extensive experience in the facilitation of Risk Assessment.Ben's point of difference is demonstrated in his ability to sell safety concepts to all levels of the workforce, engaging them and assuring 'buy in'.  His affable yet professional approach earns him respect amongst managers and line supervision and allows for effective implementation of site specific OSH imperatives.

Office Manager and Injury Management Coordinator at OH&S Consulting

Michelle hails from a Nursing background where she worked in the public and private hospital sector as Registered General Nurse in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom for a period of 10 years.  Michelle moved into health administration in 1993 and has since established sound management and administration skills not only in the health and research sector and but also in private industry.

Michelle provides the day to day administration needs of the company including payroll.  In addition she provides injury and health management coordination services to the company and its clients.
