Contractor Management Training

Course Duration:

4 - 8 hours

 

Course Location: 

All OH&S Consulting training is performed face to face at your premises or a Training Venue can be arranged (at an additional fee).

 

Course Intention: 

The course is intended to assist all personnel in the organisation in the safe management of contractors. The contractor management course is developed in accordance with the client's operational needs.

 

All attendees will receive a certificate of attendance.

 

Learning Objectives & Outcomes: 

By the end of the course/workshop participants will be able to:

• Define & explain the relationships between the Contractor and the Principal.

• Recall & maintain a working knowledge of the legislative references & Company Standards that relate to contractor management in the workplace.

• Understand the risk management focus of contractor management (looking at risks and not just the size & expense of a contract).

• Define & explain the formal processes involved in the selection, management & monitoring of contractor employees.

• By the end of the course/workshop, participants will have participated in:

• Development of the format of a Contractor Management Procedure

• encompassing elements of Contract Requirements, the Tendering and the Pre-qualification processes;

• Development of the format for the Contractor Employee Advice Form;

• Development of the format for the Contractor’s Notification Advice Form.

• Contractor award phase.

• Contractor contract completion phase.

• Pre-qualification checklist.
