Course Duration:

Course Location: 

All OH&S Consulting training is performed face to face at your premises or a Training Venue can be arranged (at an additional fee).

 

Course Intention: 

Define trenching and excavation, hazards and controls.

 

All attendees will receive a certificate of attendance.

 

Learning Objectives & Outcomes: 

• Recall the hazards related to excavation.

• Discuss the importance of integrating OSH issues into the business operation.

• Risk control.

 

Course Contents: 

• Regulations, Codes of Practice and Australian Standards.

• Excavation hazards.

• Protective systems such as shoring and benching.

• Water and gas hazards.
