OSH/Safety Management System Rollout Training

Course Duration:

Course Location: 

All OH&S Consulting training is performed face to face at your premises or a Training Venue can be arranged (at an additional fee).

 

Course Intention: 

To explain how the business manages occupational health and safety and to outline the philosophy behind the proposed safety management system. To explain AS4801 and the OHS AS18001 standards and to familiarise you with the drivers for change in safety management. 

 

All attendees will receive a certificate of attendance.

 

Learning Objectives & Outcomes: 

• To familiarise you with the Business OSH Management System. 

• To inform you of how the OSH Management System links with other processes.

• To identify the sub-elements and how they provide the foundation for all activities.

• To align the Business Management Team with the vision for improvement in OSH Management.

• To ensure you are aware of your responsibilities for OSH management.

• To identify what priority activities and resources are required to implement the proposed strategy for OSH Management.

 

Course Contents: 

• Setting the scene - where are we (past, present & future), what is an OSH Management System?

• The business approach to OSH management (aligning with the elements of AS 4801).

• Overview of the business OSH Management System (policies, procedures, forms and registers).

• Hazard management. 

• Sub-Contractor management.

• Injury management.

• Reporting, recording and performance monitoring.
