Workers' Compensation & You Training

Course Location: 

All OH&S Consulting training is performed face to face at your premises or a Training Venue can be arranged (at an additional fee).

 

Course Intention: 

This course is intended to familiarise both employees and employers of their roles and responsibilities when managing an injury/diseases in the workplace.

 

All attendees will receive a certificate of attendance.

 

Learning Objectives & Outcomes: 

Upon completion of this course participants should be able to:

• Recall the Employee and Employer responsibilities in the event of an injury/disease at work.

• Understand the process of WA system for Workers` Compensation and Rehabilitation.

 

Course Contents: 

• Common Injuries Sustained at Work.

• The WA Workers Compensation System.

• Injury Reporting Process: Employee and Employer Procedure.

• Rehabilitation: Return to Work Program (Organisation specific).

• Reporting of Injury/Disease to Regulator.

• Conciliation.

• Effective communication.
